What We Are Looking For

We're looking for a Purchase Executive to help us acquire the inventory that is important to run our daily operations. You should have a thorough understanding of market research and strong analytical abilities to ensure that you're selecting the most profitable offers for this position. You will review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock levels.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works
  • Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system
  • Prepare reports and summarize data including purchase report and book value
  • Schedule store visits and conduct competitor survey
  • Coordinate with user departments and suppliers in the purchasing scope of work for projects assigned
  • Handling and monitoring of claims to vendors for defectives, shortage, missing goods
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
  • Responsible for the preparation and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers
  • Reports to the head of department regarding purchase metrics
  • Liaises with accounts payable to ensure that vendors are paid on schedule
  • Manage projects with cross-functional team members, significant challenges with information

    What You Must Have

    Education: Bachelors
    3+ year experience of working in any pharmaceutical industry

    Skills Required

    • Excellent negotiation skills
    • Good understanding of vendor sourcing methods (researching, assessing and communicating with suppliers)
    • Strong analytical abilities, including the ability to develop financial reports and cost evaluations
    • Understanding of supply chain protocols is essential
