What We Are Looking For

We're looking for a Senior Purchase Executive to help us acquire items that are important to our daily operations. You will review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock levels.

The tasks of the Purchase Officer include reviewing vendors, negotiating contracts, and compiling reports (e.g. on orders and costs.) You should have a thorough understanding of market research and strong analytical abilities to ensure that you're selecting the most profitable offers for this position.

What You’ll Do

  • To prepare purchase orders on the basis of approved vendors list, and relevant reports
  • To evaluate the suppliers through visiting the supplier premises and reports it on relevant documents
  • To visit supplier premises during order execution or whenever instruct by head of department
  • To coordinate with relevant department in case of late delivery or any dispute
  • Keep track of things you've bought, as well as shipping information and invoices
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
  • To monitor the delivery in lead time and report it to head of department
  • To prepare monthly purchase reports, including cost analyses
  • To report rejections to relevant suppliers along with delivery challan (rejected material)
  • To keep an eye on inventory levels and arrange orders as needed
  • To communicate with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition

What You Must Have

  • Education: Graduation
  • Experience: 3-6 years
  • Good understanding of vendor sourcing methods (researching, assessing and communicating with suppliers)
  • Should have excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical abilities, including the ability to develop financial reports and cost evaluations
  • Understanding of supply chain protocols is essential
